Courtside at Bells Corners: November Edition
Men's Night, free DUPR assessments & meet June
The November edition of Courtside at Bells Corners has landed! Read on to see what’s happening at Fairgrounds Bells Corners.

In-Club News at Fairgrounds Bells Corners
New: Men’s Night Intermediate/Advanced (3.0–4.0): Saturday nights, 8–10pm. Grab your pals and paddles, get some good games in and hang out in the lounge between rounds, with the day’s pro sports on the TVs.
Free DUPR and FG Club Rating assessments for members: Looking to join a restricted Open Play but don’t have a rating yet? Check the clinic schedule for a DUPR / FG Club Assessment session, free for members. If the times don’t work for you, reach out to our coaching staff through community chat or at terrence@visitfairgrounds.com to set up a private session.
Take your game to the next level: November’s schedule is packed with coaching clinics, including multi-week series, one-off sessions and private lessons with our coaches Terrence, Jon, Chau, Coby and Laramie.
DUPR-rated sessions are getting a revamp: We’re restructuring these sessions with tighter skill restrictions, more results-based games and a better overall experience for every match submitted to DUPR. Look for the new format later in November.
Book your holiday party at Fairgrounds: Prime November and December dates are filling fast. Our Events Team handles everything, from game formats and scheduling to food, drinks and on-site support, so all you do is pick a date. Expect pickleball and social spaces for groups of 15 to 150, team-building activities and coaching, and food and drink packages.

Facility Updates
Winter policies are here: As the cold, snowy weather arrives, please be patient and courteous with our winter policies. Keep bags off and away from the courts and fencing, leave boots at the front vestibule, and keep coats on the coat racks or in lockers. These steps help protect the courts and the club from salt and water damage.

Member Spotlight
June Librada has been a great friend of the club since the day he walked in. He actually visited before we officially opened, came back on opening day and signed up within 30 minutes. Since then he’s become a staple of our community, encouraging other members to join his sessions, keeping the vibes high from the courts to the lounge and always bringing friends in to experience the club firsthand.
What does June love most? “The people. From the staff to the members, everyone is welcoming, supportive and genuinely passionate about pickleball. Whether you are brand new to the sport or have been playing for years, it feels like a place where you can show up, play, improve and have a great time.”
His favourite court is Court 7, for its energy and how easy it is to chat with friends watching from the side. His dream foursome? Partnering with Ben Johns (he does call himself “Ben Junes”) against Gabriel Tardio and Hayden Patriquin, though he suspects he’d be “doing more running than winning.”
“What people may not realize until they join is how quickly familiar faces become friends.” Thank you, June, for helping make Fairgrounds Bells Corners such a special place to be!
