Programming FAQ
Do I need a partner or team to join?
No. Most programs — open play, socials, clinics and ladders — are built for solo drop-ins, and we pair you up or rotate players so you always have a game. Leagues can be joined solo or as a team.
I'm a beginner — is there a program for me?
Absolutely. Learn to Play and beginner clinics are led by certified coaches and assume no experience — paddles are provided. Programming is the easiest way to get started!
How do I register and pay?
Everything runs through our Fairgrounds app. Open the “Programs” tab, filter by level, location and program type, pick a session and tap Sign Up. Booking and payment are handled in the app.
Can I drop in, or do I commit to a series?
Both. Open play and socials are per-session drop-ins, clinics and lessons can be booked as drop-ins or packages, and leagues and ladders run as multi-week series. Each program lists its format when you book.
Is programming offered at every location?
Programs run at every open club, though the exact leagues, clinics and schedules vary by location and season. Check the Programs tab in our App for what’s on at your club.
How do I know which level to sign up for?
It is recommended to try working with a coach before joining any open play if you are unsure, otherwise DUPR scores are often listed in the title for a better idea of where you land.
What is DUPR?
DUPR is a global rating system from 2.0 to 8.0 that calculates a pickleball player’s accurate skill level based on their match results.
