Play Fair at Fairgrounds with our House Rules

We take the game seriously. Not ourselves. That’s the whole philosophy, but it helps to spell out what it looks like on court.

Show up a few minutes early. Your court time is your court time. Warm up, catch your breath, and say hello to the group before you.

Call it fair. Line calls go in favour of your opponent when you’re not sure. Nobody remembers who won a close point. Everyone remembers who called it honestly.

Court Shoes only. Take care of the courts by wearing proper non-marking athletic footwear.

Apologize for the net cord. It’s tradition. It costs nothing.

Return stray balls. If one rolls onto your court, send it back between points. Good karma is part of the game.

Play with people you don’t know. Some of the best partners you’ll ever have are the ones you met in open play.

Leave the court better than you found it. Grab your water bottles, your towel, and your ego on the way out.

Have fun. It’s a game. We just happen to take it seriously.

See you on the courts.
