The standard dimensions for a regulation pickleball court are 20 feet wide by 44 feet long, divided into four equal quadrants. To set up your court, first find a suitable location with enough space for players on both sides of the net, avoiding areas with excessive wind or sun exposure. 

For those with limited space, a half-court setup measuring 20 feet by 20 feet and divided into two quadrants is also an option. This smaller court size is perfect for one-on-one games or practice sessions. The net height should still be 36 inches, and all standard pickleball rules apply. 

In the smallest configuration, a court can be 16 feet wide by 20 feet long, divided into four equal quadrants. This is the minimum size required for a regulation game, so ensure your court meets these dimensions.
